SALE ____This is a Globe #409A582 DC Gearhead Motor____SALE.
They are BRAND NEW items. These would be great for ROBOTICS, or even BATTLEBOTS, very strong motors. Globe Motors # 409A582 Precision Gearhead motor equipped with an electric brake and a tach or positioning sensor. Brake must be energized to allow motor to rotate. Use of the brake enables precision starting and stopping rated at 12 volts 0.2 amps. Brake can be easily disconnected if not required. Motor rated at 12 Vdc, brake at 24 Vdc. No load rating: 25 RPM @ 12 Vdc @ 130 ma with 400 ounce /inches or torque. Load speed is 17 RPM @ 12 volt 1.5 amps, stall torque is 1350 ounce /inch torque, motor functions well from 6 to 24 Vdc. Overall size, excluding shaft, 5.15" long x 1.52" diameter. 0.25" diameter x 0.9" long shaft equipped with a press-fit gear 20 tooth that be removed to fit your applications. Threaded 4 mounting holes on Gearhead face 32 UNC and are spaced 3/4' on center apart. NOTES ON THE TACH SENSOR The tach sensor is a Honeywell SS443A. Datasheet available at: honeywell. The connection sequence and color code for the wires on the sensor is: Orange = Sensor +V (+5V works fine) Blue = Sensor ground Brown = Sensor open-collector output (Honeywell recommends 10K pull-up to +5V for driving TTL gates.) white wires are for brake, red and black wire for motor power.

A Robotics 1.5 to 12 volt brushed DC motor and gearbox, has 0.125 inch shaft and a 0.70 dia pressed on hub with a 0.90 pin. Rated @ 6 volts DC 60ma no load at about 60 RPM. Has 3 mount holes on gear box and 2 power connection wires. Motor is metal construction, Gear box is Hi impact plastic, very strong with steel/bronze/plastic gears. The main drive gear is steel for durability. Factory partnumber is 94F9187
